Meet Bruce Kilby

Born in 1949 in the Bible belt town of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, Church has always been part of Bruce Kilby's life. Having moved to Florida prior to his 10th birthday, Bruce fell in love with the architectural field in his early teens, and was working part-time in an architect’s office as a Senior in high school.

After earning experience with several architectural and drafting firms throughout the late 60's and early 70's, L. Bruce Kilby Designs was born in 1975.

Bruce's parents taught him "When you do something, you must do it right." Bruce says, "More recently I have learned that everything that I do I do for God. He gave me the ability, and I should always use it to His honor. That means doing it right even if it takes more time than I am being paid for.  When a project leaves my office it is right. I think that gets me more referrals from satisfied clients."
